    @Archduke there is one active, large and competitive faction in CA, so you can just name it :P I believe that soon we'll get ship ownership mechanics, which allows keeping the design while sharing/selling just assembled ship. Should be enough for now, until we get some really fancy BP stuff.

    With all the missing or broken mechanics, you just can't have big combat viable ship. IMO. By big I mean 600MV+, multi-crew, armed with turrets.

    Are there any plans to allow snapping them in place? I.e. make tractor beam able to snap objects, add component that enhance endo lifting capability or divide those big components into several pickable ones? Otherwise trading/looting them becomes impossible, as you can't place them beck.

    Nah. It's never too early to identify gameplay flaws and suggest solutions. I did the same with gun-brick meta. But it's better to start with simple tweaks before introducing new gameplay mechanics.

    Because there is limited number of players to hunt. Also having some intermediate stage between mining and fighting doesn't hurt either of then. It also gives some incentive to bring combat ship into the belt, which increases chance of meeting a worthy opponent, rather than only big slow prey...

    That's a lot of new stuff. Good work. One question: does that mean thrusters now need 45 degree radius cone open behind them? So all thrusters slapped on the sides or embedded into armour are now useless? In general I like the idea, but would be nice to have some visual indication for that.
