    AFAIK cutting tool is not meant for permanent ship modifications. Grey "burned" voxels, jagged line and reduced durability suggest that at least. Better build windows out of various uncut plates. Unless you go for more mad max style scavenger type of aesthetics. But then you don't need a ruler.
