Here are some pictures of my hype van burial:
My soft landing turned into a jitter-fest. I then got to watch my hype van dance itself to death and dissolve into the base foundation.
I like this idea. I could see companies becoming to-order shipwrights to help those who don't have the patience to build their own ships. Also, I see in-world ship building becoming easier as some of the SSC tools are moved out into the game world like auto-bolt recently and the blueprint...
Any report on how many of the Halloween ships were sold in the end? Also, if you bought a Mr. 'Umpkin, there is a small fix you need to make. The resource bridge needs to be piped into the nearby pipe under the pilot seat's feet. However, be careful to not intersect the pipe and the chair as the...
Next episode is all about tools. I followed with some of the feedback I received and condensed the very similar tools all into one video instead of spreading it all out. I'll eventually redo the weapons videos to all be one video too.
This is awesome. I am excited for all the future projects and whatnot that will be showcased.
...I really should get back in the swing of things and make some more videos...
On this front I'd like to suggest a "simulation" arena (I don't think I'm the first to do so). Players can pay to participate in two match types, an open and standard. In the open matches player designed ships within certain criteria are allowed, in the standard there is a pre-selected set of...
I appreciate you taking the time to think these kinds of problems through. I also like the way you refer to a player's "wealth" as the value of game assets and time is something I trust you will do right, but I am worried about nonetheless.
So, if a ship had many gas resource networks (that were connected to each other in series, using bridges like one-way check valves), then if all of them are disconnected each could be filled with a separate bridge connection to an outside source?
With the patch today, messages could be sent via resource bridges by sending pulses of electricity or fuel to binary code information. The range and throughput would be limited, though.
This isn't so bad. It's not really all that different from the fuel gauge on your car not changing until you turn it on after filling up.
Can this rate be increased by adding more bridges?
Thank you very much. This will help with repairing and otherwise taking apart ships to get inside. :)
I suspect a big update full of surprises coming up soon too. They did it with moons before, there's no reason that there isn't some other big feature right around the corner.
LOD coming in hot! (From first big ship battle)
After stepping out of my seat, I got thrown back into a cargo crate. I then had to wait for my ship to leave the safe zone so I could hope to not hit an asteroid and break free.
