Putting those components on that wing would make it pretty fat if you would like it to be covered in armor, which in turn would slow down your ship more as weight is very important in SB if you want a faster ship vs a slower ( I read somewhere)
I'm not sure how the sandbox will work out atm, there's a lot of discussion about it in this thread and another similar one and Lauri (CEO of FB) chipped in on it and he was questioning how/if they were going to do it
Heres his earlier reply that I'm referring to

I'm not sure I agree with this, whilst I see your point about letting people access shipbuilding and such things beforehand and not lose in-game time or the player count. People would just want the full release at that time, not to mention there would need extra work to block the features in the...
Sorry to say you probably will miss the flag, although that would be really cool to have.. a faction flag that you place in the center of stations which is captured to open up the safe zone making it vulnerable to attack
Be sure to plan that not everyone will see it as a community monument and that pirates will attempt to sabotage.

Ah so github. I was more leaning towards if you were gonna use a channel in discord and put in bits of working codes and such or somewhere else like a google doc, I did figure it was going to be on the internet though hahao_O
I believe even the cheapest resources would be a while to make as you would still need the key components of the vessel which may take more.
And that slingshot cannon I'm not sure about. you could only get your vessels up to 105m/s I think it was, and so it won't benefit greatly from a...
I mean it would be pretty cool seeing a team of robots tweaking a constructed ship in a hangar, fixing YOLOL maybe seeing some welding flares :P that's always a nice addition, although I don't think we will have that, but seeing a team of robots just going about on the ship seeing turrets moving...
I'm pretty sure they are not really adequate to compare in such ways. Whilst I see your point I believe it's better to learn from the side from those games did or did not do to become successful or not. But I dont think the comparisons should be so in-depth whilst Starbase is taking things...
