    I did not really ever play rust, but I see your point. I mean it's just a way to encourage larger group play if anything, and if not people would still have some day(s) to defend their station anyway so it should be fine

    That sounds very possible. You just make like a normal door but reinforced (Hatch more) and then you put weapons a small distance behind it. Got yourself a missile cruiser!

    I agree, it's a really fresh take on the genre too. The fact that it would take days to hurt such a safe zone as well from a hostile presence is really intriguing like I mentioned in the other thread it brings a sense of realism to it, how battles take longer than you think, especially sieges...

    There is a maximum speed limit yes, however, there is no acceleration limit from what I know so far. Meaning weight still adds to how fast you can move off which will most likely be more crucial than your top speed many times

    No...? We are talking about sandbox mode/test mode alternatives to be placed in the main game, where you could build ships, rather than having a separate offline game mode. You should catch up, there's been some really interesting ideas and arguments

    What? I'm not entirely sure what this has to do with the thread except design. But were talking about a ship designer built into the game, as in a blueprint editor. Not the required parts for vessels I may have misunderstood what you meant in your post though..

    I cant wait to see shipbuilding still, that is more present to the EA, curious to know if there will be different components etc and ship sizes, not much known about it as of now

    The developers have a lot of material to go through here to get ideas, I'm sure we will hear more from them soon as it is a decently large chunk of the game if it were to be involved. (part of)
