    You misunderstand, we DON'T want griefers to have an indestructible griefing tool, since it would make life miserable for ANYBODY at the receiving end. Even if it wasn't particularly effective, people would still use it because they can be as annoying as they want with no chance for repercussions.

    What @CalenLoki said, but I also want to add that angled thrusters can be useful for increasing turning speed, although they cannot increase forward thrust.

    I don't think it addresses the problem of bringing in civcap ships to grief by blocking areas in combat zones, except the idea I posted in the main thread I can't think of any way to really solve this problem.

    I think that if the capitol ships get shipped as stated, that they should disable any kind of shields while moving or jumping, and have their shields turn on when switched off/idle, to prevent offline raiding while away. It would mean that capitols cannot just waltz into wherever they like...
