    While there is some hardcap, it's so hard to reach that it's more of a softcap. You simply won't reach 150mps without dedicated unarmed race speeder. Also there is armour angle mechanics, which helps wedges more than shoeboxes.

    Yolol. Transmitter on your small ship need to send password into void. Then yolol on the big ship checks if password is correct. If yes, it sends possition. Of course someone could listen and log both of these calls. But you can try to encrypt them.

    Large weaponry actually favours small-medium glass-cannon ships. Because those usually have high range, penetration and damage, which are more useful against large, slow targets.
